a buddy of mine has an acura gsr and wants to race me he has intake header and a v tec cotroller set at 4800 should i beat him or what

 

Unless you have some good mods also...he will probobly take you.

 

MMMMmmmmm a nice GSR lunch. But don't race him to dead man's curve.

 

I raced my friends stock GSR when I had my V6 accord (also stock). It was close, but I ended up being slightly ahead before we shut it down. Much of it depends on the driver of the GSR though....

 

you should beat him easy if you have a 5 speed and you can drive...the type R is the real competition for the maxima...

GS-R's run low 7's to 60 and mid-15's in the quarter, and if he has headers and a VTEC controller he'll be a little faster. I know Max 5spd's can run with a GS-R and I think you guys would probably have a slight edge (stock v stock), but then his mods might put him about even.

I think it would be a very close and even race and that it would come down to who's the better driver, IMHO.
