Cleared sidemarker question

If you have cleared sidemarkers, is it hard during the day for another car to know you are changing lanes if you are behind them?

That is what I meant. Yellow is easy to see during the day. If you changed them to clear, do people driving have trouble noticing if you are signaling to change lanes during the day since white is a bit more difficult to see?

Umm...turn signals and side markers are two different things.

thats what i meant...if you're behind someone and going to pass them, ESPECIALLY during the day, theyre not gonna look at your sidemarkers...thats why i dont understand why you would ask this...who cares if orange is more visable? its most likely below their line of sight anyways...

You can wire your sidemarkers to blink with your turn signals - a very cool and safety conscious mod. But as people have said, they are SIDE markers and you can only see them from the SIDE. Besides clearing your yellow turn signals may look cool but is not very safe unless you put in a yellow bulb.

if you are concerned about peeps seeing your directional while changing lanes, check out the LED mirror shells.

Has anyone successfully wired the front side-markers to blink with the turn signals? I remember reading about this a while back, and I think somebody tried to do it and failed. I don't see how you could wire them to be always on and also to blink with the turn signal.

This whole time I thought that the bumper lights blinked when the turn signals were used. I now realize I was wrong.
