I would get both, but if you were choosing one go for the cattman y pipe. Best bang for the buck IMHO

For a performance upgrade, you are kinda comparing apples to oranges here.
for both.

What do you mean "what should I get in general not for performance"? That makes no sense... do ya mean to say you have no purpose for getting either mod? There has to be a reason why or ya wouldn't even be asking this question....

Anyways...

Y-pipe... and then just do the GAB mod instead of spending money on an intake...

Not good enough... what are you trying to accomplish with the car? More power? Nicer sound? What other mods do ya have?

Either way, I still say y-pipe.... more power, nicer exhaust tone... the sound of the Injen annoys me... actually with $400, save some extra money and find some headers for your car....

Ya save a lil more and get headers, I would suggest both mods intake and y pipe, b/c you lose torque with the y pipe, but gain it back after putting CAI.

But i would go with the y pipe, best bang for performance...

There's no loss w/ y-pipe.

Injen shouldn't be considered a CAI- it sits behind a hot azz radiator, fans kick on you get 200+ degree heat sucked into the engine right away. You install headers- all the heat off them will be sucked into the intake also. InJen is RICE for me, you want real CAI- you get a Place Racing CAI.

BTW- get a Ypipe, not some Injen warm air intake.

Of course, that's probably going to get this thread locked.
depends on you needs. the only 'real' performance mod you listed is the y pipe. if you are in the market for a sound mod, go with the intake.

why would this thread get locked? Because it's true?

y-pipe = best hp/$$$. You can buy intake last if you really want.

because some of us are pretty passionate about people mislabeling the injen as a cold air intake, which it is not. that tends to irritate some others who actually believe it is a cai. as soon as one of those people get here, it'll get locked.

I've got them both but I sort of suspect that I'm running a bit lean. Next mod--> SAFCII.

ordered what? I hope it was the Y-pipe. Intakes add about exactly nothing to the power of the car. I know. I just ran the same as a 5.5 w/ou an intake at the track.
