Getting my rotors replaced.
So my rotors are warped and the dealer says that they will swap them out but I can't have my car until tomorrow. But those bastards won't give me a rental car!! The service manager says that Nissan does not give rental cars but I think that this guy is just full of BS. Is this Nissan's policy to take a car in overnight for warranty work and not give you a rental?
My sisters POS Jetta was back at the dealership 3 times for warranty work and she got a rental every time. Here I am with a $30k car and Nissan won't give me a rental car even though it is their fault. What gives? This is Tustin Nissan in CA by the way.

I think the major difference between the Max and the I30 Infiniti is the loaner car you get with the Infiniti. I didn't think $2000 was worth it when I bought my max, and I feel the same way now...but I agree it would be neighborly to give you a loaner.
My dealer gives me a rental car. It totally depends on the dealer though. Some will give you a rental while some won't even drop you off at the nearest bus stop. But hey, at least you are getting them replaced. I have to go get that done very soon also.
No loaners from Nissan...
I was told the same thing: Nissan does not give out loaners while your car is in for service. Only if your car leaves you on the road, they will get you a rental car and pay for it.
At least they are replacing your rotors. Mine were badly warped and all they did was resurface them (they don't even want to hear about replacing). So, the new rotors should be good for another... hmm... 15K miles? (considering how weak they are)
