Slow clutch release

Any of you experienced a slow clutch release on your 5.5 gen 6 spd? It all started a couple of months back and now it got to a point where it take almost 2 seconds before the clutch engages once I've shifted gears. It seems to happen only when the car's been running for a while (10-15 min). It's getting quite dangerous also when I'm uphill since it's kind of stuck and won't lift back up fast enough.

Anyways, went to the dealer to fix it and they will be changing one of the hydraulic cylinders...just wondering if it can be something else. Looked at the howl tsb, but the dealer's saying that the disk isn't the problem. I guess they might be right, but I do hear this howling noise once in a while. I find this pretty strange for such a new car (30k miles).
