Need suggestion fast!!!

I posted this in the tired thread but no one answered and I need the answer right now. How good would this tire be Mastercraft Avenger LSR 225/50 R17??? I'm asking because I might be able to get a almost brand new set for free.

never heard of the tire but it sounds like a pretty good deal. on that note, dont expect good/great peformance wet/dry out of it. it will probably wear like a rock since it sounds like a brand that a non enthusiast would pick up so they dont have to be replaced for a while. you might try google and see if you could pick up any reviews by past owners. is it a sears brand tire?

I have the Avenger LSR Sports on mine and have no complaints. I have had them for a little more than a year and have handled the rain & snow fine.
