I have been told that they both fit and don't fit on a 5th gen...i don't see why the rears wouldn't bc the side skirts are not involved in the back...but maybe the fronts don't fit bc they are made to work with the stock sides...i want my mudguards the color of my car and was wondering the easiest way to do it..i may even buy the stock sides if anybody is selling them in sterling mist

 

i bought them in pearl white from courtesy and the fronts did not fit because of lack of side skirts,there was a large gap. yet i have seen other 2000 white max's with body color matching guards? i asked dealer and they said 2000-2001 only come in black? does'nt make sence but i can tell you for sure courtesyparts front colored guards will not fit 2k-2k1 because of lack of side skirt. even with just on back, it looks better, but i bought entire stillen kit anyway, just waiting for warm weather to install. hope it helps

 

I friend here in louisville got the color mudguards for his 2000 from a 2002 and they fit perfectly.

nissan did make mud gards that match body color for 00 & 01. they just never sold the cars w/ them... it was an additional option i guess. anyway, i got mine from dave b to match the color of my car & they fit perfect.

I just sanded, primed and painted mine to match, looks great, finish is lasting (so far) and it cost alot less. This will do me fine until I get the Stillen kit.

The fronts will be different if they are designed to a car with side skirts and your car does not have them installed. The rears will fit regardless. Mine have 2000 stamped on the back ones.

 

My Max came with color-matched mudguards. Many didn't, it seems; but mine did.
