Power Socket Rewire

Sorry if this is a repost guys but I did a search and could only find stuff about rewiring the fog lights. I dont know if this is wrong or not. Kinda wierd cuz its the only car I have ever had that does this. My 12v Plugins dont get constant power so I can't charge my cell or anything like that unless the car is acutally on. I was wondering what the easiest way to rewire that would be? just a quick rewire in the fuse box or behind the dash or what or would it be easier to rewire the console one?

you can rewire I guess. just find a constant 12v power source and not from the radio memory wire. You'll blow fuse. Just remember not to leave things plugged in or you'll kill your battery. I think that's why car companies make the power sockets/cigarette lighter sockets cut power then the ignition is off. I think Some older if not also newer American cars, (GM) leaves their power on all the time.

Well I am used to it staying on in my cars. My 96 S-10 had the power socket, 2000 jeep cherokee, and my 88mazda b-2200. So Now not having it drives me nuts.
