Thank You NYdesi80 for agreeing to try this out, and 99 SE-L for offering a housing to work with!

I too would buy 2 sets...

So far my fogs are in good shape with no cracks. I installed PIAA Extreme Whites four months ago without any problems thus far.

????

And speaking of the fogs on the 6th gen, 8 out of every 10 I see on the road has one thats already burnt out! Whats up with that? I even asked the service manager at the dealership why I see so many new Maxima's with burnt out fogs and he laughed it off and said I was imagining things. Im not. Apparently the fogs on the 6th gen were an afterthought? who knows...

Anybody try any of those cheap ones you can get at Pepboys? I'm on my third set now and am sick of changing these things!

Both of mine are cracked, put 3M on them right when I bought the car new, cracked anyway. I live in Denver, so the sand they put on the road is he11 on car. I put 3M on the hood, fenders, front bumper, side mirrors, headlights and on the roof in front of the sunroof. I can say I don't have any chips, but was surprised that the fogs cracked with the 3M.

Same deal here with my passenger side fog lamp, where I have a small crack that's only noticeable if you kneel down and view it close up.

here ya go...

Hello Matt. Thank you for your inquiry and interest. We certainly do have a precut kit available for your Maxima. Your cost for both headlights and fog lights is $44.95 (clear or any color combo). 2-3 day shipping is only $5.95. I apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to order it online yet. To order, just give us a call toll free at 866.632.6182 or e-mail us back a confirmation including your shipping and billing details. Hope this helps. Let me know if any additional questions.

Regards,

Christopher Wadle

The xpel or lamin-x sheets are great for those who's fogs haven't cracked already and I defenitely recommend them. I was just surprised that someone posted up above that even with it, his fogs had cracked, cuz till now I've only heard good things about those things.

Oh and also I still haven't recieved the fogs from 99 SE-L, so hopefully by this week I should have them.
