Window Tint Time

Window Tint Time
Ok... so here's the deal...
I have a 2000 Sterling Mist Maxima... and I'm debating on what % tint I want. I go to school in Philadelphia and I know cops down there have better things to do than pulling me over for my tint, but on weekends I go home to a small town... and cops here will pull me over for anything wrong... (got pulled over for my clear corners on my 4th gen )... but down to the topic... i'm debating to go either 25% or 35%. Not sure what I want! Pics might help also if anyone has it... I am paying 160$ for this to be professionally done. I'm leaning on more on the 35% tint llumar tint or whatever it's called... so maybe some help from you guys will help me decide on my first tint ever!
Thanks!

I would play it safe and get the 35%. It will be legal in most states and it will still be easy to see out of at night. Have you ever considered tinting the windows yourself? Its not that hard of a process and with instructions if you would like may help you do it yourself.

I had 20% on the sides and rear, I live in a small town outside of buffalo ny, work in city.As far as I can remember, I recieved 4 tickets in a 3 year period...$100 each time...Even got one on a 55mph thruway by a NYS trooper....and just when ya thought they had better things to do. It looked tight on a silver car...but now on my black maxima Im not even going there, not worth the headaches, but i miss that tint..

i have a buddy that does tint work and he did my winsheild, i think it's illegal but i have passed many cops with no problem, i like my tint because it is really dark but i got used to it real quick, and once again i have 35% on the winshield and 5% everywhere i don't think it's too dark, i'm thinking about putting 20% on the winshield actually

Maybe I'm wrong, but I would think the odds of getting pulled over would increase GREATLY with a tinted windshield. Not saying I don't like the look by any means.
I had pretty dark on an old car of mine, and loved it. But, you also have to understand why the police don't want to approach a car that they can't see into...

well as long as you're not an idiot around here cops will leave you alone and there are plenty of stupid *** ricers around here to keep the cops busy, and plus i mean cops don't suspect a max to be modded out like mine that's one of the many reasons i love my car

that does look pretty nice, but i would get pulled over in a minute. think im goin with 30f/15r, cops dont like side windows tinted here, but 30 should be light enough.
if i lived in FL, i would tint the whole windows, since its so hot down there.

May be i am the craziest person here. But i have tint all around including windshield full from the top to the bottom. 20% all around, 60% for windshield. Damn it is so cold inside on the summer time.
My other car, front is transparancy for the windshield, but it is 95% reflect UV rays.
Since i got ticket already, so i don't care with that. Meet with the judge and say that i bought this car used, and there was windows tint all around.

hold down, i do 60% and transparancy for my other car for the windshield from the top to the bottom (another word it is full, not just as long as the sun visor). The instaler told me that i must have been the craziest ever, but i take that risk.
I do that because almost 50% car on my country do that for security purpose. Than i do the same thing here for security purpose.
Knock on wood, if i had accident and if the windshield break, than it will stick on the window tint and not spread over to my face.
