I would suggest a short-ram intake (Berk, Frankencar) combined with a y-pipe, which will give you nice gains for not too much $$. the short-ram intake will give you the same gains as an Injen, and you save a couple of pounds too

The intake and y-pipe will increase noise level, but if you're still using the stock exhaust, it will just be a little meaner growl, not any loud droning or anything like that. If you're in MD, you might want to roll down and meet some of us and see what we've done....guys like soonerfan (local) have an intake/y-pipe, as does Puppetmaster (joel)...check out the DC area forum

Irish is right; get a y-pipe with any intake and you'll be all set... the y-pipe will give ya about 10-12 whp on a 3.0 and the intake well, will give ya something... haha... I have a Berk intake and a Cattman y-pipe and it is only slightly louder than stock. When I'm doing normal driving I can barely hear the exhaust... I can hear the intake though... Soonerfan has a video clip of his exhaust set-up somewhere, check that out....

And yeah, make sure ya follow the local forums for if and when we meet up next....

I have the stillen high flow pop charger with a frankencar midpipe. Really happy with my setup. I had it combined with a cattman y pipe at one time and loved it, still kicking myself in the as s for selling it (y pipe)

I have the JWT pop charger, it definitely makes a nice growl at 3k+ rpm. I'd like to get a frankencar midpipe when I get the chance; I believe the JWT has been dynoed and proven for about 2-3hp.

If I'm not wrong, the diff between the Berk/FC & JWT/Stillen is the Berk/FCs come with a mid-pipe and the other 2 don't. The midpipe reduces turbulence in the airflow going in and creates a different sound (or less noise maybe) and smoother airflow...
