Windshield Conditioner?

I am sure I am not alone when I say that the hazy appearance the windshield gets from millions of tiny hits is anoying. It only takes months to get this way, and is most visable when your driving into the sun.

Does anyone know of a glass treatment that minimizes the affect?

none that i know of. i just use glass cleaner and clean my windshields regularly to minimize the haze. doesn't really "treat" the glass per se, but helps IMO.

OK, well thanks for responding none the less. I thought perhaps someone has developed something for such a common problem. I know they have a liquid that fills in scratches on plastic eyeglasses so thought the question was worth asking. I had to replace my windshield last fall and I was amazed at the clearity of the new glass. The winter driving on sanded roads has done away with that though.

Thanks Kid, your reply appeared just after I just posted my reply to Nismo. I will try and locate this "sprayaway" product and give it a try.

Thanks Again...

rain-x works great as well. it is mostly de-natured alcohol (gets everything off the glass) and a wax that fills in the rock-chips. perfectly clear and no more annoying little chips.

dont use rain x on headlights. there is warning on the back of the bottle about using it on plastic. i tried it back in hs on my 95 altima and it left a haze on the plastic that took forever to remove.
