oil pan question

oil pan question

ne difference between the auto and the manual tranny oil pan? my friend wit a 4th gen auto saw that the oil drain plug was on the other side of the pan.

Yes they are diff, but eighter pan will work with eighter tranny. Meaning, auto engine with a 5spd tranny or other way around is perfectly doable. Having done tranny swaps on Maximas from auto to manual, I know whats possible and what is not.
