Same here...twin tips (nice looking tips, like the frankencar tips with the mesh lining material), not too big 2.5-3" tops

NO droning...sounds stock at idle, and smooth on accelleration (like a G35 as mentioned above).....

SS is a must.

perfect fit is a must, of course

+1 !

Just spoke with Brian Catts to see if he could bargain on the black CAI and cat-back as a package, and he replied that he will actually be upping his price on the cat-back by $40 when his new site goes online. Sounds like he has great products, but we don't all have a cool grand to lay out on intake/exhaust.

If they make a nice sleek single tip like the 2nd one pictured... you can have my Frankencar.... for a reasonable price of course...

Ya just need to wait till I have my Mossy exhaust, I will start a group deal :P I don't think anyone will wanna buy Cattman after that. I will take detailed pictures of the exhaust and you can compare the 2. I leave this conversation at that.

Thats soo easy to make, its what i have all u have to do is take the CM tips (not rear section) off and add dual tips.

But id say u guys at SSR would get more business with headers since there arent many companys that make some nice headers for the 5th gens.

Custom maxima alone would not have sold..what is it now 9000 or so of them if there was no interest in seeing a max with dual exhausts, check their site, and look at the pictures before you try and tell me it does not look good. If you still say so, then that is your opinion.

If you start a group deal and its cheaper than cattman, i think you'd have a lot of people interested, myself included.

Who told you they sold 9000 of them?!?! maybe on 4th gens but I only know of 1 5th gen with it. There really is no purpose of having this type of exhaust except for looks.

9000 exhausts sold ? Man those have to be the nastiest sounding Maximas out there. I see more Greddy exhausts on Maximas than some cheap **** CM puts out. I don't think we even have 9000 members here on the forum, and if we did- not everyone has their exhaust. CM products suck, the only good thing they sell is the resonated test pipe. And once again I don't drive a Pontiac GTP or whatever they sell that has 4 exhaust tips.

I would love to see a set of headers that fits as well as cattman's and makes similar if not more power at a less expensive price. You would definitely have my business at that point. As for the catback or muffler or whatever you are doing there I think stock-like is the way to go. Oh and an intake manifold would be nice, unless the price makes it not worth it. I am not sure I would pay more than $50/hp(or tq) over a decent rpm range.

I'd be in for a set of headers for the 3.5 that were cheaper than the Cattman but fit well and produced power. They wouldn't even have to be as pretty. They could be all welded up like on the 3.5 turbo setup. I'm in the market for some headers right now. My main interest is producing power and having a good fit. The header selection is pretty limited for the 3.5 cars.

No problem, it looks real nice, even my girl who only likes the G35 (VERY PICKY GIRL) likes them. I think it looks real nice, even a dual exhaust with single tips like the G35, altima se-r, z350, etc. It is a nice look, and likely my next mod, thanks to dealer it came with a lot of other niceties added in.

haha, I would be in if it was a very subtle look (stock) and sounded good dont mind a gurgle on idle, but at WOT it would have to sound aggressive.
