"How To" for 350Z Dead Pedal

I was looking in the how to's and only found the "how to without screwing in the pedal." I dont think I wanna glue it to the carpet, Id rather screw it into the floor. Ive seen threads about this before, but cant seem to find them now that I need it. Assistance would be helpful. Thanks in advance

does your big foot fit in the dead pedal spot now? you are just replacing the rubber pad with a better looking pedal thats the same size

so it replaces that cheap rubber piece and covers the carpet above and below...it probably won't accomadate my foot unless i have my shoe off since it won't work with my shoes on.

It's pretty simple; you can see how I did it at:

i dont understand what you mean by "won't accomodate." there's nothing to accomodate for. it just goes over or replaces the current dead pedal. the dead pedal serves no mechanical purpose. it's just a place to rest your left foot while driving.

ya i meant adding a larger dead pedal still won't accomadate my huge left foot since my shoe will not fit on it without making contact with the dash somewhere
