Driving with bad wheel bearing...

is it okay to drive for couple days when the front wheel bearings are clearly going? reason for this is because my local dealers are jammed up in appointments, but i use the car daily. The fronts are now making a whoo-shoo whoo-shoo sound, sometimes louder, sometimes less, but it's always there. And what should I tell my dealer for them to cover this under the powertrain warranty? are they supposed to be covered? thanx for any input.

if you drive too long, you will destroy the hub. i had one go out on me when i had no choice but to drive back. i think i put about 200 miles on it before i was able to take it in. the hub was fine in my case but i definetely would not suggest waiting.

The bearing are not covered by the powertrain warranty, only the 3y/36k. I drove on the first one that went for over a month until it started to make real bad noises. I had to replace the hub also.

been driving around for many months with a bad bearing, it sounds real bad, but i'm not worried about any safety issues. shop quoted $200 to replace but i didn't include this hub piece. I'm in no rush since i cant afford it now anyways

Like someone said if you keep driving with the bad bearings the hubs will go too pretty soon. How do I know, I drove a couple of weeks with the bearings being shot and it end-up costing me 2 hub + 2 bearings total cost 800$ Cdn, so dont wait and have the bearing replace asap, or pay the price like me.
