My car feels just plain sluggish :(

not sure why either

didnt feel this way till i started driving my moms 97 max for a couple days

it just feels quicker, and yeah i have an intake, but even in the higher end, the 97 feels jus plain quicker

could it be the maf? or the intake?

im gettin my cattman y-pipe installed soon... will that fix anything?

so yeah, any ideas ???

thanks

I had a 2000 SE and a friend has a 2001 SE auto. A couple of other buddies had 95-99 autos. The 95-99s were always faster, and timeslips proved it. High 15s for the older ones, low 16s for the newer.

Check your MAF and coils. Another thing with all you 5th gens with stock 17s, those wheels weight like 26lbs each compared to like around 15lbs for the 15" sawblade 4th gen wheels. Put some 4th gen wheels on your Max and U will see the diff. I find my car has enough power to humiliate a stock G35 auto from a stop. I my car is stock.
