Does the 3.5 have a vias like the 3.0

Alright guys...I figured out a great way to keep this valve stuck open (or stuck closed if u want to get technical) throughout the whole RPM band....all I did was zip tie the acutator valve onto my FTSB....no messing around with the vaccums...everything stays stock and shouldn't harm anything....at least so far my car doesn't idle weird or throw any CELs.....
I took it out for a spin and couldn't really get a clean WOT run....they were all done in 1st and 2nd gear....doesn't stay in the upper RPMs for too long so I can't really tell.....I have to wait till later tonight when traffic clears up....but so far I can state that the powerband seems VERY linear....the loud switch over you would hear with stock VI will not occur...its more of a GRADUAL switch over....anywhere from 3500-4500 is when you'll get the loud growl...unlike the stock one where it goes WAAAAAAHHHH all of a sudden at 4k....
steven you dissapoint me fella. What you're doing there is happening normally after 4k rpms, so at 6.5k, nothing has changed from that pic, since the day you bought the car.
You want it to stay at rest, not move, and the best way to do this is to dismantle the flap altogether.

This has been discussed before. And there appears to be some confusion. Removing the '00 powervalve really does something for that engines top end. Removing the '02 powervalve or simply leaving it open does nothing extra for the top end. And if you want that one to stay open always you just remove the vacuum line. It only uses the vacuum to close it.

Yes that is closed and you just killed your top end.

Anyway I already mentioned I cannot remove the flaps....I stripped the screws and theres no way to remove it now...unless I just cut off the whole flap itself with a dremel or something.....

Closed is what it does @4k anyway, So I came to the conclusion after trying this (bit different but same idea) that you don't lose or gain anything from the top end but loose torque in the low end. Nissan new best

Anyway, I've played with the valve a while back thinking that if it gave the car more power at the top end, why not keep it the same throughout. Surprise, surprise, I only lost low-end torque and gained nothing on the top.
