I have the old battery sitting in my garage, for people who upgraded what did you do with your old battery? Will any stores give you a few dollars for it like when you trade in your old one? It still works find but I doubt anyone will want to pay to ship a battery from a 2001 from Ohio.

 

A "few" dollars is about right. I never traded mine but the AAA place gave me $5 for the battery for "recycling." You could always use the old battery for testing electrical equipment that needs 12VDC.
