I bet my friend $100.......

Hi

My friend and I got on the subject of HIDs. That led me to telling him that ALL 2002 to 2004 Nissan Maxima models came with xenons. He claims that's not the case.

I guess I'll get my $100.

Nope, you just lost $100. 04's you could get without Xenons.

8th paragraph down.

http://www.nissanhelp.com/Models/200...escription.htm

From Nissan USA's website ..
"The front fascia is sharp and cleanly sculpted and features a distinctive Nissan signature grille with a unique, rounded-rectangle shape pattern accentuated by a dark chrome finish, along with a deeply sculpted combination headlight cluster with optional xenon bulbs (standard on 3.5 SL). The pronounced rear fascia is elegant and leaves a strong impression, accented with the unique design of the body panel that surrounds the rear taillights."

No Xenons listed as standard feature. I also sold Nissans including 2004 Maximas so I know for a fact this was an option on 04 SE's.

there is a loop hole in the statement. if you want to get technical it's true that all 02-04 models come with hids but it depends on the trim level. optional equipment on some 04 models doesn't mean that it can't be standard equipment on other 04 models.

..you can weasel your way out of this one if you're slick, at least a draw.

Huh? Do you understand the word ALL? This would have to mean all, including ALL 04 Maximas had standard HIDs.
