Please help me.... Way confused.

SO I have 2 engine codes

P0139 - 02 sensor Bank 1 sensor 2 Circuit slow to respond.

P1147 - Maufacurer Contrl. Fuel Air metering.

I know, I know it's been covered a million cajillion babillion times. I've searched and I always end up back at the neat little picture. But that doesn't explain jack to me.

Someone please be so kind as to tell me:

Do I need to replace the 02 sensor and everything will be hunky dorey? (is that how you spell hunky dorey?)

Post Script - I'm hoping this is something that can be done by me, what's the difficulty level I'm looking at ?

Thanks. As soon as I by my new car stuff starts going wrong w/ old reliable, ain't them the breaks. . . .

Both P0139 and P1147 are errors caused by a bad O2 sensor. I would suggest replacing it.

jjj, stop posting idiotic crap.
