uneven drop-any advice?
i installed my s-techs but theres one problem. my rear driver side dropped .5 inches more than the passenger rear. if you looked at my car from the passenger side youll see my front is slightly lower than the rear-mean look. view it from the driverside front and rear are equally dropped. to the average cat its unoticeable but to few it sticks out. im reinstalling them in this week to see if it would adjust because i dont want to leave it like that. i was also thinking about installing h-techs in the rear do to the fact i have 3 12's to get installed, after putting them in i feel itll still have that mean stance-what you think? has anyone heard of this, any help is appreciated................

Mixing springs isnt a good idea. If you just put your S-techs on give it some time and let them settle in. I havent heard anyone complain about an un even drop with s-techs so give it alittle time.
If you installed them a while ago that a new story.

springs have been on about 2-weeks, i doubt a spring settles upward so waiting to settle is out of the question, i actually asked a few members that so we were on the same page, i actually thought the gas tank may have something to do with it but thats a far fetch probably a defect, might be but i spoke to tein directly and they told me they never heard of it, they might be installed wrong. my boy is a nissan/infinity tech out here and he installed them. ive heard of others mixing diff brands of springs so i figured h and s wouldnt hurt, with my system in i still want the back a bit higher but lower than factory.

if that was the case wouldnt it be slightly higher so when a driver gets in itll even out. passenger side looks great even with my someone in it, driver side just doesnt give it that stance, noone sits there beside my daughter in her car seat so weight shouldnt be an issue....tuff situation.

2 things. Either the spring was improperly installed or it is defective. Even techs mess up. I don't car who it is. I have never heard of someone having a defective spring from Tein. You could be the first. My vote is to reinstall them. One other thing I just thought of. What struts are you running? If they are stock, one could have blown out as they are not suited to an S-tech drop. I have the H-techs/KYB GR2's and have installed multiple sets as well as other brands. I have had to pull out and reinstall a rear as well as a front suspension assymbly to correct a mistake. Fortunately I caught it. Try this. Measure from the edge of the wheel well to the ground on each side and write it down. Drive at least 300 miles and re-record the hights. This will give you more information as to a particular issue or side that is off and by how much.

yeah tein told me they never heard of it but that doesnt mean it cant happen. after i reinstall and switch the sides for gp i'll wait a few and see my results. if it appears again then tein has to replace it (would they need all 4 or just the defect?). im running hp's on stock 17's. both front wells are 25.5 of the ground perfectly even. passenger rear is 26, .5 more than front as expected but my driverside rear is 25.5 just like the front. hope i havent confused ya. some call me to picky but we all know when it comes to your cars you want what you want.

Absolutely. Picky isn't bad at all. Honestly .5" sounds like the spring isn't seated in the top hat. If that doesn't do it. Def contact Tein. They should replace it. Oh and you only need to send back the one defective spring, not all four.
