Bday Coming up.. What to ask for..

Alright, my bday is coming up in June.. My mom said to start telling her what I want.. So, basically, I have a stock 2000 Mahogany Pearl Max.. So, what are some things I should ask for.. I have around a 1500 dollar limit, but I could always go a little over so.. What is some of the best stuff for the money and looks/performance, that I could get.. Thanks

Agree with what Lontar said....take the 1500 and invest it...then you will have double that in a few years...

Ye i know, haha that's the whole point.. But should I get stuff like : Berk Intake, Warpspeed Y-Pipe, Clear Corners, 20% tint (i have 35%), SS Main grill and valence..?

I put the Sarona Bodykit on before I got the car.. and before I found this site. Someone hit me and it was ruined, the front and sides at least.. So, my BIG decision is to whether or not get the sides again and stillen aero front, or just get the old bumper put back on.. So thanks for any suggestions..

really quite a bit could be had for 1500. It depends on what you want out of it. Performance wise, the max really responds to exhaust and intake upgrades, which are both fairly economical, and will increase VE while still having a livable car. Obviously the Y-pipe being ~15hp is prolly the best increase per dollar. next the catback will give a decent 5-8hp over the y. That said is only about 800 in parts, depending on manufacturer, cattman is rather expensive, which is why I chose Greddy, plus Greddy seems to be the best performer being straight-through. I have heard Mossey is real nice, but I haven't had the time to look into it much, plus i'm satisfied with my Greddy. On top of those the intake is the next thing you'll want, just to make the most use of your newfound scavenging abilities. That'll set you back 100-300 depending on your choice as well, I went the home-made route by bogarting an old accord intake and some couplers from friend's long lost intake projects, so it only cost me a 45 K&N cone filter. The last benefit i would tout would be a test-pipe or resonator pipe as CM sells. Some flames may ensue, but you can't argue it adds power, especially after the VIAS opens. You could easily build a full exhaust, using all high-quality parts for less than 1100, and given about a 25-30hp gain, it makes a huge difference in the car. Once you've done all that though, to get anymore you'll either have to go forced induction/nitrous, or delve into the motor itself with some port-work and cams. Or you could just buy a bodykit and pretend it goes fast.

Thanks for all the info.. See I figured, berk intake = 135$ .. WarpSpeed Y-Pipe = probably around 250$ shipped... Street Scene Main Grille and Valence = $220 Shipped... and Smoked Corner Lights =66$ Shipped

Thats around 700$ give or take 50 bucks.. So I still have some other stuff left over and I am sure I could work a little more money out of my parents.. haha I am evil

damn the rear has got to go..whats your suspension setup like? looks like the front would rub a little on u-turns or even regular turns..but overall the car looks real nice with the tint..id get a new rear bumper..stock or stillen..paint the flaps same color as your car and buy some wheels or invest with the rest

Yeh dude, I know.. have you not read? When I bought the car, I did not know of this site, Stillen or anything like that. My friend showed me the Sarona kit, I bought it, got in a wreck, only kept the bumper sides and front messed up.. So I am taking it off, getting stock.. and did you not see the rims I am most likely getting? Read before you flame..

Alright, sorry kinda sounded like you were.. Well you see.. I was 16 when I got my car, really immature, favorite movies were the fast and the furious, crap like that. Well, I didn't know the first thing about cars, and what I liked, I just thought that stuff looked cool.. Well I also did not know about stillen and the .org so I got Sarona.. A year later I got in an accident that was not my fault and probably could have been avoided, but in that year I realized the mistake I made with the kit. So, I could have avoided the wreck but chose not to.. I was desperate to get the kit off but my parents put up an opposition... After the wreck I had a reason for the sides and front, but the back stayed on, until now. June 13, the ugly peice of fiber glass is being taken off and so are the wheels and a breath of fresh air put back on.. I can't wait.. Trying to get a new paint job too..

But sorry for assuming you were being rude, I expected it though, because I kick that thing every time I walk outside...

System

Get a system. Get some 2 JL w6v2 (600), two 500 watt amps (500-600), re componets (160), pheonix gold 4x50 amp (150), and come up with 100 more dollars for rear speakers. You will thank yourself.

sixx one, just cuz you got it don't mean he should. in fact all that stuff is a waste of money. rl-p's would take a fat dump all over a w6v2. re components are besides maximahunty likes blows

19", 18" is around $1175. I'd like to see what tires come on a 19" Axis wheel for $1350 with tires.

From wheelsnext.com in which your picture came from:

19" Wheel/Tire Pack (225/35/19) $1939.00
19x8 Each Wheel $375.00

If you can get those prices (19" $1350 with tires), by all means jump on a few sets and get some of the more popular wheels (to other orgers) like the milano, seven mod or hiro. But for anyone else, if interested, I can get the 19" wheels from Axis shipped for $1350 and 18" for $1175 as long as they are in stock.
