They will work. Do not go above a 45 series sidewall. It will rub when turning. 40 series is best.

Side walls....question. sidewalls, the lower the number the smaller the wall or the larger?? and how does the sidewall play into the rubbing?? Thanks!

Agreed. Sorry for the incomplete post. A 235/45/19 would be the largest size tire I would put on a Maxima with Tein S-techs. This is just my experience and opinion. If larger will fit and someone has done it without issue please chime in. The risk of rubbing is greater the larger the tires height and width.

The height of the tire from the rim out is going to be smaller as the # goes down. The taller the tire, the closer to the wheel well, the greater chance of rubbing when going over bumps and while turning.

Thought you had Progress? If you switched I'm just curious as to why? And also do any of your pics of your 19's consist of the drop on Progress?

Thanks

I actually live around the Philly area also. I go to Drexel University so my car is really bad in some spots but I know where all the bad roads are at and avoid driving there. Otherwise I think the ride is fine. Like I said before that's just my opinion. You will get others here....

Yeah I usually park on 34th street by the frat houses. Free parking after 9 AM till 4. That's what time at school for anyways so I park there. I have the full Stillen Area kit. I have the s-techs on now. I don't think it's "that" bad. I had a black 4th gen last year up here and it was with agx/sprints and I think I just got use to the harshness or something but I don't think it's "that" harsh. It's all opinions but the drop is great man. What year are you in and are you on your co-op now? I'm a sophmore.... still young

All i know is that with 245/40/19 and stechs i rubbed when i turned my wheel all the way to one side and with the 40 series the rear rubbed on bumps. But i only rubbed with the 245 because of my offset. you should be fine with a 245/35/19 setup.

A lot of people run 245/35/19 including myself w/out any problems.
