(Lights warming up 5 sec after turning on)

(Lights a min after turning on with one still not warm)
http://www.djsjewels.com/onewarmonenot.jpg
(Housing almost warm. looks green but is really purple)
http://www.djsjewels.com/housing.jpg
Hope you guys like the pics. They are a pretty good representation of the intensity of these lights.
Notice how well the project and there is no glare or stray light. A perfect beam pattern.. And the pic where one light is green and the other purple is because the lights arent broken in yet as hogan explains to me. It takes about 48 hours of burning for them to be an even purple/white color..Any questions just ask

nice...makes me wanna spend some more on my car.
I just wondering, how does this HID creates high beam? Does it shift the angle of the discharge like the stock bulbs?
hope u will have the installation steps coming up soon.

ok to answer question one it doesnt have highbeams. dont really need them in the city and if in the county these provide PLENTY of light..
To answer question 2. Install is very simple.
1. Install bulbs into housing like any normal bulb.
2. Plase ballast and starter where you want them
3. Secure relay on the wire harness to a screw anywhere in the engine bay.
4. Hook the wire harness up. red wire to battery and black to a ground. Then plug in the connector to the ballast and harness.
5. Connect ballast to starter.
6. connect starter to bulb
7. Turn lights on a gaze in awwwwe...

Cool. Not too much more than the Panasonic kit I have. Show pictures on how you did the install, if you don't just show pictures of how you wored everything. ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
yeah High beams are NOT needed with Any HIDs.
BUT some states requires that you have them.

Can't these sort of lights blind the driver in front of you. There have been plenty of times that I've driven and someone behind me seems to have there high beams set on me which irritates me and I just want to ![shiner](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/shiner.gif)
that person. The lights look cool but I just don't want to get someone mad. Maybe you guys know what I am trying to say. Anyways how much were the lights again?

Theres a difference between glare and brightness. I have mine adjusted to remove glare from about 3ft above ground and light just the road. My lights are brighter, but not becuase of glare like high lights would cause.

So why don't you order the HID's from Bellof? Sure they do cost more but you do retain your highbeams. Last I read yo_its_ok can get them for $980.

Adam,
I'd like to see the difference between the PIAA Super Whites and the HID's on the BRIGHTs. Maybe, you and Zach or Phil could do a few comparison pics. I do a lot of highway driving at night and I'm pretty blind, so I wouldn't want to lose any brightness. Do you get flashed by people thinking you have your brights on? Give me the hook-up on where to get these, so once I get the $$$ I can order them. What is the model and part #'s incase I can find them cheaper somewere?
Thanks,
Alex
