Is this a serious problem or normal

**UPDATE**Is this a serious problem or normal (Transmission)
I took my car into the dealer about four months ago. I told them I was having issues with my car at pull off. When I'm at a stop and I go no matter how much gas I'm giving it, the car jerks into gear once it reaches about 2500 rpms or 20 to 28 mph. Is this normal cause thats what I got from the dealer?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

god i hate nissan dealerships. it's either they can't reproduce the problem or it's normal. what you're experiencing is definitely not normal. i'd go back there and ask to speak to the highest manager they have there at the time and explain your problem to them. if they don't listen then tell them you're going to call nissan usa.

On the real ya'll this thing is kinda freaking me out cause I don't push my car hard at all and I'm stock except for my intake which is injen. I only have 25k miles on my car how could my engine be dying already?

Update: I got me transmission fixed today and I'm happy. The following was replaced:
Solenoid Control
Gasket-Oil pan
Bolt
Transmission control
Auto Transmission
One weird thing I just noticed tonight when I was try to see if this was fixed, was if I step on the gas from a stop are the rpms suppose to go to around 7000 rpms before it switches into another gear?

Isn't his car over 100K miles...that's why he was out of warranty and had to pay out of his own pocket.
What? 7000? if your holding the gas all the way down right? maybe your tach is off now.

Yup, those darn solenoids seem to be a big problem with the tranny. The new solenoids are almost identical except for shift solenoid A. The housing seems to be different. The old housing has a hole in the back where as the new housing is completely enclosed. I really would like to know which solenoids, of the 5 that are in the tranny, is more prone to failure? Also, what type of failure do the solenoids experience? Do the solenoid simple get stuck or do they fail due to a short/open in the windings? If the solenoids fail due to a an electrical short/open then the MIL (actually I think the O/D light blinks if a malfunction occurs in the tranny) should have turned on.

is this your first car? your car has serious problems. if yor auto shifts at 7000 rpm, then your in deep ****. our redline is 6500 rpm. if you go pass the redline, then your engine wont last too long., and your tranny.
even if you stomp on the gas? then you too have a serious problem too. your first gear should reach 6000 rpm before it shifts when going WOT. if your just crusing, then yeah, thats a different story.

he said hard launches, so im guessing he wasnt crsuing....
the thing about autos is that, they shift when they want to not you. so it shifts depeneding on how much you step on the gas, obviously, if you step on the on it a little hard, its gonna shift in the upper 4k. if your stomping on the gas, (at a light) your rpms should go to 6k then shift but not past 6.5k. when your just babying it or just crusing with traffic, mine hardly ever go past 3k.
