i have a 00 SE auto and the only performance mod i have is a cattman y-pipe...i'm looking into getting a frankencar cat-back and was wondering if that'll be too loud or not....with just y-pipe my car is nice and quiet...

Frankencar cat back is even quiet on 3.5s with headers...trust me, it's not loud.

He's right... my intake is louder than my exhaust... even with the y-pipe.... the Frankencar does a good job of sound dampening...

if u decide to go witht he frankencar, make sure to get some new bushings, or ull get lots of noise form it rubbing on ur rear beam. the red/blue ebay ones worked perfect for me.

did you guys notice performance gain by adding the frankencar cat-back? but it seem like i'll be picking up the cat-back to go along with my y-pipe...

You won't "notice" anything really by adding a cat-back.... the gains are debatable since no one has really dynoed with just a cat-back... I'd say it felt stock when I put it on.... the y-pipe made the difference to me, not the cat-back.

No rubbing or knocking here... I didn't even use the hose clamps that they provided to reinforce the stock hangers... I stuck em on there eventually anyway....
