depends on your goals...if you want that "stock" feel and don't plan on adding anything more than just an intake....then OEM Is the only way to go....if you plan on doing some serious bolt-ons and maybe squeezing some nx....then go with aftermarket....but remember....aftermarket mounts will not be like stock mounts no matter which one you pick (Energy Suspension or Place Racing).....I have the ES mounts on my car and there is slight vibration @ idle sometimes....it doesn't bother me....but it might bother you....so just keep that in mind

I bought mine from Cattman....$80 shipped I believe....i forgot the exact pricing but its somewhere around there....and the installation will vary depending on who you know.....

Remember....ES motor mounts are NOT motor mounts...they are just inserts that go into your stock motor mount housing....I was lucky to find a shop around here that has an adapter large enough to press out the old mounts.....becuz from what i've read....other members went shopping all over but couldn't find a shop with a large enough adapter to press them out....so they had to settle for a shop that torched out the old mounts...then hacksawed the metal sleeves out.....the whole process will take approximately 1hr for both so expect to pay the shop around $80-$100....as for me, since the shop already had the right tools...it only took them 15 minutes to do both...and they charged me $30 bucks...I had my mechanic install my mounts after they were pressed out for $40 bucks....the install is very easy and straight forward....but I didn't have any tools & I got lazy so i just paid my mechanic to do it....

if you do the install yourself...and u know of a shop w/ the right sized press....then expect to pay only $100-$125 for everything....if you pay someone to do it and they don't have the right sized adapter for it (the old fashioned way)....expect to pay in the ballpark of $200

Well my mounts are dead. I know this because i put the car in drive i touch the gas and you can see my engine dance. Now can i use the cattman mounts still even tho mine are pretty much busted from what i know. Im hopeing that im wrong and they arent busted but from what i know i think they are. There are only two mounts in the engine?? i thought there would be more?

no there are 3 engine mounts and 1 transmission mount.....only the front&rear engine mounts usually go busted before the other two....and to answer your question YES you can reuse your old mounts....no matter how busted they are u can still reuse them.....besides they are going to press out yer old/worn out material and press in the ES ones while maintaining the stock housing

Cattman sells the place racing one as well....unless he ran out....then that means you can't get them anywhere unless they are used...

Place Racing went out of business by the way...that is why you are not getting any replies

you can run on them for awhile....just don't lag on them too long.....i'd say a month or two is within the safety margin.....i'm not mechanic....but i'm guesstimating that is correct.....
