I really like the way the custom hood protector, (partial nose mask) looks on the 5th gen maxima, and was wondering if anybody had any experience with these sort of protectors in the past. My primary concern is what discoloration to the paint underneath, if any, can be visible after removing the protector after say five years? Will a noticeable color pattern exist at the nose of the car, that makes it look brighter or duller than the rest of the body?
