Keeping cool in leather seats (with side airbags)
Does anyone know where I can get seat covers that will keep me cool in the summer, but not interfere with the side airbags? They pop out from the outer seat bolsters, right? Also, what kind of material should I be looking for? I've always heard sheepskin, but wouldn’t that be warm? Is there anything better? My main concern is the fit though. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Get some nichrome tint (blocks 90% of heat) and a windshield shade for when you park. The kind of tint makes a big difference. My TL only has 60% which is a lot compared to most and it is no way as cool inside as my maxima which has the 90% tint. (Note, my car is still tinted 35% up front 20% in the rear)
EDIT: Sorry 60% heat blockage. I also should spell check more often

darker tint if you are willing. Your tint prbabaly doesn't block that much of the heat. I had 40-50% tint when I bought the car, and when I put the 15% on it got much cooler (both temperature and looks wise).
If it's hot out Ill put up the rear shade, front shade and leave the sunroof cracked open... It helps a lot.

or, one way to beat the heat is to get a remote start and leave your AC on, and start your car about 3 mins before you get there....nice and cool when you step in. that is a much more out there suggestion.......but mostly tint with some kinda metal will do the trick.
