Can anyone tell me why the front passenger side in the 2000 Max has so much more room than the driver's side? It feels like they split off 60% of the front cabin for the passenger, and 40% for the driver.

I guess that the front axles aren't the only things unequal in this car.

 

could be there is a steering wheel on the driver side and pedal as well

 

 

don't forget the gauge cluster!

 

All the stupid buttons and gadgets are in the way also. ( at least in my car they are)

 

And why can't I have a glove box on my side as well????

 

you might have something there...

 

that should be a new thing for sure. a drivers side glovebox would be the biggest hit in Driving these days!!

 

yeah and we can store the steering wheel in it
