it's time for a new set of rotors. my target is the duralast rotors in autozone. that's $45 a piece and with 2 yrs warranty. pads will be axxis metal lux.
just wondering anyone heard any negative feedback with duralast rotors??

I've had these on my 95 since I bought it.. Not sure how tehy fare on the 02, ever think of getting the 04+ brake upgrade?
On the 95, they warp easy (~20k) but so does any other stock replacement.

I had them on a previous car... sold the car with the rotors on it 10K miles later so I don't know if they warp or not (didn't in 10K miles) but one thing was for sure, the entire rotor rusted very quickly. At least my stock rotors had the coating over the "top" (the part closest to the wheel / rim) but the stockers warped every 5K miles so they were better than stock in the important aspects like stopping the car and not vibrating the wheel when I touched the brake! I got the cheapies so maybe the ones that were a step or 2 up would have been better in regards to rust.
If you're not concerned with looks, then you should be fine. Otherwise, spend a couple of extra bucks. Live and learn... that's why I got a bit better ones for the Max going on soon.

That should be for both, however you may want to ask. $90 for non-performance rotors is kind of expensive so it probably is for the set and I seem to recall having paid something similar per set (front and rear) for my previous car. Sorry I don't know for sure.
