GAB = less MPG?

GAB = less MPG?
did the GAB yesterday with the hanger first before I cut the plastic to make sure I liked it and how it sounded. I like the growl when I floor it to pass someone, and I've found that I've done it alot more than usual since I've did the GAB. Anyone else find this so, I guess that is why I'm getting a little bit worse gas mileage huh? lol

most likely. i change from a berk intake with a 8" k&n filter to a gab during the summer. i find myself pushing it just to hear the difference but i seem to get about the same mileage. the low end response in in the heat is the biggest difference for me though.

there are two ways of doing it, one is using a coat hanger, and its in the how to instructions up top of this forum, and the other is where you cut the plastic that holds the filter in. Some people don't like doing this so when they go to the dealer.....me, I don't go to the stealerships...lol

Thanks
Again, there is a write up in the installation how to's at the top of this forum for the coat hanger method, the one where you cut the plastic of the stock filter holder is ez if you just look at it and compare it to the hanger method.
