HID question
Check this out. Yes, you can get better quality bulbs for more money, but this is a good reference.

You would get more blue at the expense of lumens of light output. 4100K is the brightest light you can get, and the purple color at the cutoff that causes the flicker is what happens when the white light passes under the cutoff shield and changes the frequency of the lightwaves. I prefer to have 4100K, and any expert will tell you the same, higher Kelvin bulbs cost more, produce less light, and are illegal in some areas. Its a waste of money..You can bend the shield if you have projectors to get more purple at the cutoff.
Philips and Osram bulbs are the only way to go, and thats why BMW and MBZ and ever other auto company uses them, do you have D2S or D2R?

I bought tens and I hate it my brother likes it but these are only for shows thats all they are good for...It's emberassing to drive with higher than 8k xenons, coz some halogens are brighter and they look at you as if you're some rice dork. I put them in when i want to show off the car but other than that dont get higher than 8000k otherwise you will hate it and say Yes I should of listend to that guy on the org.
