Data Dots Help!!!

I'm on the phone with Dave B and he is asking me about what are the Data Dots. Is that a regional recall, TSB? Does anyone has a Part # etc..... Thanks

data dots....thats what they use to secure the 2K2/2K3 headlights better. that doesnt even apply to you. i figure you have been around here long enough to know that, Lontar.

From what I understood it was a regional recall based upon where you live. In areas that have highter theft rates like the big cities. Little rural towns shouldn't be affected by this recall.

I know that .. and if you see my sig you will notice that I added the HID's to my car...... just asking if it was a regional recall or a 48 state one....

I think it only covered 02-03 Maximas registered(?) in RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA and DE but I'll have to check my notice when I get home.

i didnt realize that meant that you had the 2k2 lights, just thought you had HIDs in your stocks, my mistake.

and i was under the impression that it was, in fact, regional. but im not sure what would happen if you had a 5th gen with 5.5 gen lights and took it to a dealer in one of the effected areas for the recall. not sure what they would do/say.
