brakes

Ok, so i just replaced my brakes. I just want to make sure its normal to hear some squeeling at first right? also how long do i break them in? i've been doing some 60-30 hard breaks. i hope thats right.

They shouldn't make any noise at all from my experience. Is it a brake squeal or a rubbing squeal?

its like the squeal u get before u change them but not even half as loud or as much.

i changed my pads to Raybestos Quiet Stops and they squeal a little sometimes but they arent as loud as before you change your old pads. Its normal

I'd go back and re-check the install and make sure all components are installed right. May be a PIA but at least you'll have peace of mind.

You can Buy A Product Called "Anti Sqeak" and you put it on your Break pads mine was orange

There should be no squeals after a brake job. If there is, it will only get worse. I would go back and reassemble the brakes making sure to clean all hardware and regrease it. Then put some anti-squeal on the backs of the pads.
