my side marker doesnt work when i put on my turn signal on but my headlight signal works. i checked the fuses and the replays look fine. i bought my car with that corner wrecked and the side marker wires were cut. i bought a socket with the wires sticking out and the colors match. i sodered a wire inbetween the factory wires because they were a little short. i also used a light tester and hooked it to the wires when the signal was on and i didnt get any power. my bulb is brand new so thats not the problem. anyone know what the problem might be? this is the last thing i need before my car can pass safety and i can get it on the road. thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, but I think you have to rewire your side marker for it to blink. I don't think mine does, I'll go check real quick.

You can however rewire it as I said above, here is a link, its in the "installation how to's" at the top of the page, as a newbie, you should look through there and all over the forum, especially the stickies and don't miss the FAQ's. Not mad or preaching, just trying to help you, I'm still a newb and understand completely. good luck.

the yellow side marker isnt supposed to blink when i turn the turn signal. well that explains a lot. when does it come on then? just when u turn on the hazards? i didnt want to rewire, i just wanted to pass safety. thanks guys and sorry about the newbie question

its supposed to come with your parking or headlights. it will only blink if its rewired
