Mixing Spring Brands Front/Back...Problem?
Hey guys...I went back and read lots of posts on spring setups (Housecor's on H&R front, stock back) (Progress vs H-Tech) etc. but I couldn't find anything relating specifically to my question so here we go...I currently have H&R with Illuminas set on 2F/2R and I love the comfortable ride...I'm getting the stillen kit put on in 2 weeks and after seeing silvermax2k2's pics I really like how the progress springs in front look with the H&R rear...according to housecor's site that would put the car at an even stance of 26" front and back...is there anything wrong with mixing types of springs in this way? I don't want to lose too much ride comfort that the H&R offer, so I'm not really sure if i should
a. do this at all
b. get progress (26" front) or tein h-tech (26 1/4" front)
Any input would be great....Thanks guys.

I don't think the measurements on housecor's site are exactly "scientific".....the heights are "ballpark"....my measurements with maxspeeds are not that close to the measurements on his site for maxspeeds....they're just there to give a general idea.
From what I've seen personally, both the Progress (low) and Maxspeeds (not as low) are the most even drops.
as to mixing springs....I wouldn't....differing spring rates front and back could have adverse effects on handling. The only real way to mix safely is coilovers, where you can adjust them...
