Wow, that's a cool mod. Whoever did that is stealing my thoughts right out of my head. I had that idea because I was thinking of changing my Alpine headunit to a flip up DVD unit, but didn't want the DVD to block the A/C vents in the summer or heat vents in the winter. The only way to do that is to push the DVD unit down further in the console, so you'd have to relocate the climate controls. Reminds me of an old Lincoln LSC. Cool stuff.
