LOL Van, that's some funny stuff.

Newbies....sheesh.

On a side note, I am now Van's agent for any photography shoots your Maxima club would like to arrange. You can PM me for rates and times available.

Man, slick looking pics again. Excellent photography skills! Makes me want to get my ride out for another late night photo shoot. Wish my alma mater's campus looked like that.

Now, THAT would be awesome. I would have to take a photography class if that were the case.

Ya, out of the four cars there, Van's is the only one that is dropped and he is on Maxspeeds. I have H&Rs sitting in my living room that are yet to be put on. As soon as I get my Illuminas in I will install them.

I used full manual with manual focus because it was too dark to auto focus. The settings varied slightly due to different lighting conditions at the different locations during the shoot. I used an aperture of f8.0 (sweet spot of the lens) at 28mm X 1.6 multiplying factor due to a non-digital SLR lens on a dSLR. The ISO was set at 100, which has the least amount of distortion and graininess. The shutter speed varied from 8 seconds (for the best-lit areas) to a full 30 seconds ( for the low-lit areas, which most of the pictures were taken in). I like long shutter speeds for these kinds of shots, because it allows for a deep depth-of-field, in order to get all the buildings in the background in the shot clearly. I set the white balance on auto white balance, because there were too many different light temperatures available during the shoot.

Here is a picture of the lens and camera used. I just recently got the lens, and I was testing it out that night. It works pretty well. Much better than the cheap-quality kit lens, but not as good as my 50mm prime.

Edit: The camera is a Canon 300D/Rebel, with a Canon 10D firmware hack (custom settings of 10D enabled) mated to a Canon EF 28-105 F/3.5-4.5 II USM lens and Canon EW-63II lens hood and Hoya UV filter (which I think causes glare).

Here is the state-of-the-art building that offers simulated rain and wind conditions for football training. On a side note, the clouds were moving fast that night.

Woah, this thread is back from the dead. Thanks, though. Who are you? Have I seen you around? BTW, I just lowered the front of my car on some spare Sprint springs that I bought for my cousin's Maxima that he isn't using yet. It took 37 minutes to do both sides (I always time myself). The drop looks much better, except the ride is slightly harsher, but not anything remotely close to being unbearable. I will post some pictures up after finals.

I didn't use a spring compressor because I was just removing an aftermarket spring to replace with an aftermarket spring. Aftermarket springs are not compressed like stock springs are. The stock spring will launch the top hat across the room (or garage) if a spring compressor isn't used. With the Maxspeeds, the top hat moved about 2 inches and fell to the ground. I just put my weight onto the top hat to put the nut back on. No spring compressor needed.
