i need help choosing between aluminum and wood dash kit pleasse help decide

well im torn between the look im going for, wich is more racer lookign, considering i got the aniversary pedals, momo aluminum ebrake is coming, brushed aluminum flip out screen, and im def gettin black and grey leather, but the oem wood look gives the car soooo much class, but i dont think i can mpull it off without the car clashing, call me a chick i guess but i just like my car having 1 specific look

that is the wood and you all know what the brushed alluminum kits look like

if there weren't so many pieces on that kit, it would look a whole lot better....I, personally, like the aluminum look better, especially with a black or gray interior, but i don't like it when they're overdone...just my .02

edit: and since you have all those other aluminum 'accessories' i really think it would be best if you got an aluminum molded kit...I, too, wouldn't like to have my car 'clashing' especially on the interior

you have aluminum, stick with it. I think it will fit nice with the black interior. If i had money to blow i would get it as well

aluminum and don't go for one with as many pieces as the kit in your picture. it's overkill.

I have a wood interior and everybody likes it. I bought it like that and the the inside looks pimped, but i might change to aluminum idk yet. Go for the aluminum it'll look better with all them things you listed.

My interior is tan leather and the factory wood looks nice - but if you have a gray interior then go with the aluminum. Also depending on the color of your Max... wood is good with white, green, blue, tan... and aluminum with black, gray, silver

in my opinion wood grain isnt "luxury" its "old man"
which is why got a molded brushed aluminum kit to cover up the wood grain in my old GLE
it looked good with the pedals and door sills

I have a GLE and seeing the switch to aluminum from wood, I may want to do this... Aluminum is what i had in the 99 Se-L, and looks like a weekend project for the GLE...

aluminum

Just a matter of personal opinion. The OEM factory wood seems a lil cheap to me, the brushed aluminum looks great... It's all over the Infiniti G35 and I think it makes the Maxima interior more elegant ESPECIALLY on the black interior....
