Rears Markers

Hey Guys
Sorry about the dark pics.
I am debating on rather to change my keep my clear rear markers or put the red ones back in. I am going to keep the front clears because i hate the orange. The reasoning for doing this is:
1. One of the clear ones keeps leaking(even after multiple sealing attempts)
2. Kind of like the look on some other orgers cars
What do you think?

I am just a big fan of the clears, the red is nice, but the clears are just better looking. I really hate the orange in the front though.

i prefer the clears cuz it goes very well with your wheels. your car is dark, but then the wheels are a bright silver, which is set off more by the sidemarkers. the only thing i would say would be to maybe get the smoked front, and then rear when they come out, from custommaxima.

I was just about to say the same thing -- that your clears and the wheels match up great.

I say tint them. Since your car is black , it'll match perfectly. Look at Josh's (irish) car.

i say stick with the clears or if you don't mind spending a little extra money and getting the smokes then those would look even better. or you can do what sam said and smoke them yourself.

I'd put the red back on. I have all stock markers on my car. The clears/smoked markers look real cool, don't get me wrong, but if EVERY single Maxima tuner changes their markers to clear, then what is so unique or original about doing the mod? It seems like everybody (not just Maxima owners) is changing their markers to clears-> kids in Civics, Neons, Accords, Sentra's, and any other car that someone saw in "The Fast and the Retarded." Not to sound like a jerk, but I'll stay stock to be different from everybody else. Do you guys remember how many people put "five star" rims on Mustang GT's back in the mid 80's to present? There was a point when it was getting sickening because everyone did the same thing.

well i dont think clear sides are as big mod as the rims. rims stand out alot more than clear sides. but i know what you mean. in my case, im the only max with clear sides around my area, so it is unique to me. so i dont really care if people in the .org has them. i see so many people with stock maximas here, so im just trying to be different, and i cant afford rims right now, but i dont see too many ricers here either. some cars come with clear sides, (with amber bulbs in them) or side markers. but that doesnt mean its automaticly rice.

I have a lot of ricers with the worst cars and mods. We have a lot of nice rides out here too, but the bad ones are bad. I just don't want to look like the "boy racer". My car is very subdued. No lips or body kits. I've got a mild drop, rims/tires for better handling, tint, and the rest is performance (hopefully soon to be more). I'm not real flashy with my car. I've got to figure out how to get pictures on this thing. Even my rims look like they could have been a stock option.

in my opinion either both clear or both smoked. two different colors looks goofy..but your cars looks really good anyhow

I think white cars look better with clears, but your car would look great with the smoked markers.

I have the clears both front and back, so of course I think that way looks better. It looks more uniform and definately accents the wheels.

On your car clear ones all around look better. IMO, 5.5 gens look better with all clears. I've got 2k GLE with red taillights and red markers look better.

i bought clear fronts and rears when i first got the car two years ago, i never even bothered putting in the clears in the rear cuz i like the red, the clear up front is clean. Having the clear rear looks cheesy imo, especially on a white/silver car. i know some of you that pimp those things say i'm crazy but hey, i bought both with the intention of using all 4 but the rears are still sitting my garage somewhere brand new. thinking of which i should find them and sell them...

when the lights are on, i prefer red in the back and clear up front. the red markers match the red coming off the tails while the clear markers match the HID's. just like in Deckdout's sig.

Spend $5 on a can of testor's tint spray and spray both front and rear OEM markers. On a dark car, this is a clear "looks" winner. And you won't have any leakage problems because they're OEM lights.
