Strut/Shock boots

Anyone know if those "universal" boots that Summit sells will work on a Maxima?

I think the dealer wants $30 a pair for these things, not to be cheap but i think that's way too much.

While we're at it, how long do the boots last anyway?

Thanks.

KYB strut boots are $68 for 4 from Cattman, but I'm not sure about the quality of the Summit ones... seems that price is about right, but then again, they might not be as good as the KYB ones...

Yeah, and come to think of it, Josh (Irish44J) went to a junkyard and got em for a token fee off a wrecked 00-01...

It's not cheap to look to the org. to save alittle. That's one of the the reasons the org. exists. Plus the dealer is always more then any other source for the oem. And looking at aftermarket can find a better product (but look closely and ask others first).
