How is this done? Ive done my front brake pads but the rears look like the caliper is supposeed to pivot off. Am i correct? Anyone have a write up or can tell me how to do this? I saw the spring for the e-brake and didnt want to mess with it so i jus wanted to ask you guys so that i wont F anything up. I tried the search but found nothing. All help is welcome. Thanks

let the e-brake off...then there are two little bolts behing the caliper with the two black boots around them, you have to unscrew those and then just take the caliper off.. but it might not budge at first..if it doesnt just use a small hammer and knock it off gently.. my car is manual as well and i took mine apart like 3 times already..its pretty simple and dont wory about the e-brake spring it doesnt interfer

i have an 00. So just take the 2 caliper bolts off and i should be set? the caliper doesnt look like it wants to do that. Instead it wants to pivot off. Like its one big piece. If gently knocking it off with a hammer will do it, then ill try it this weekend...
