Putting in New Front Wheel Bearings Today, help!

Alright I am going to tackle the project of putting my new wheel bearings in today and was sending shouts out to anyone who has done it already. Looking for some tips that will save me some time.

It looks pretty straightforward with the only hiccup being the trip to the local mechanic to have the bearing pressed out.

Also going to freeze the new bearing before I try to force it into its new home.

Good luck. I'm going to be doing mine pretty soon too. Are you doing both sides?

Doing both sides even though I only hear sounds coming from the right.

Alright fellow orgers, I will do a step by step how to on this project. I just hope that I don't grease up my new D70.

just got mine right side done for around $200. BIIIIIG improvement! Only problem now is that the A-hole messed up my ABS sensor, said it was attached or something and was gonna get damaged. Of course it was after the fact and costs$130 for a new sensor. Says it doesn't affect the ABS performance, but be "careful" and let me know how much it gets in the way so he can replace it for free when I step to him.

Well, I started to and had a hell of a time getting off the middle nut. It's the one with the cotter pin. After obtaining a four foor breaker bar, I managed to get the thing loose. I thought it would be all downhill from here but I realized that the hub wouldn't come off. I then looked at the motorvate site and I think that I need to remove the CV joint from the rear to get the thing off. It was at this point that I deided to let the shop do it as I really didn't want to get that greasy.

I am looking for a shoop to do it today. I keep you posted on the price. I had quotes as low as $150.00 per side. Nissan wants $528.00 for the labor.
