rotors, is this ok?
i put oem pads all the way around and cut all 4 rotors 4,000 miles ago. now the front are warped..... would it be ok to put a set of 4 irotors all the way around and still use the pads since there is only 4k on them? and where is the cheapest place to get them????????

I used OEM pads with my iRotors and they are fine. I think you might have to change the pads to new ones though, because they might be worn wrong because of the warped rotors.
Pads are most likely GLAZED.
It is possible to resurrect lightly glazed pads with some effort and the proper tools, but I certainly wouldn't try it myself. (me)
If they are heavily glazed they aren't worth keeping, and will cause damage to your new rotors, oem or otherwise.
I'm not an expert, but personally - I would replace the OEM pads with better materials.
I JUST bought HAWK pads to mate with my OEM rears and NEW FROZEN fronts. I have never heard or read anything bad on this forum about these pads.

Two Words: group buy
Hey man, I had the exact same problem and from reading, here is what I found: Warped rotors (at least not excessively) are not a problem while breaking because the caliper will move with the plane of the rotor. Its a problem when your not breaking because the pad will graze the rotor and cause the rotor and pad to wear. When you put on new pads, they hit the rotors even harder causing problems with vibration, alignment, rotor/pad wear, and what people commonly diagnose as warped rotors. If you want to look it up, its called disk thickness variation. Bottom line...its annoying as hell. Go to the group deal forum and look for the brembo rotors, etc deal. After months of thinking and complaining, I finally ordered mine today. I'm replacing all four rotors (brembo blanks), all axxis ultimate pads, and bleeding the brakes...$323 shipped. A whole lot better than you can do at most places for oem replacement, much less performance parts.
As far as the pads go...I decided to just replace them even though I had new fronts put on a year ago. The rear pads need to be replaced, but I'm doing the rotors also to avoid any disk thickness variation problem on the rear. All in all, I decided to do rotors and pads on all 4 wheels since the price is right, I'm paying for shipping anyways, I'm going to be working on the brakes, etc.
Good luck!

My rotors are warped at 47k easy highway miles, really surprised me, I'm really easy on brakes and last a long time on other cars that I have owned. But after reading here on the forum looks like just a case of poor brakes on these cars. Has anyone had experience of Gripforce rotors. I see them on ebay for about 150 for all four, plated, cross drilled and slots?
