Make the fogs nice big round lenses. I really like some of the bumpers they have for preludes. Makes it look like the fogs on imprezas... niiiiice.

World Rally Championship- WRC fog lights on a Maxima ? ehh I don't think so. If you put the OEM Maxima fogs in this bumper its not going to look like a R34 no more, maybe we can get some kinda good fog light to fit in those holes where the blinkers are on the R34.....

ABS is very stiff material to work with, it doesn't crack as eassy but fitment sucks. Utherane is what the stock bumper is made out off, if its fiberglass- count me and probably the rest of the .org out of the deal.

I know this might be hard to predict, but do you think it will be ready in like 2 months? Or like 6-7 months? Thanks

Yeah im not feeling the bigass fog light setup. thats reserved for rally and big time rice. I like the stocke lenses and that would look very sharp on that bumper.

As of right now, The bumper will be made of fiberglass. But The fiberglass will be hand laid, so it will fit pretty well. Once we start selling it, and he sees that there is a market for our maximas, I know he will make it out of poly. As for ABS plastic, its wayyyyy too expensive to produce. You need a very high preasure mold to produce ABS plastics. Ill keep you guys posted!

Simple abs and urathane are two plastic composits, meaning they give, they bend and twist. Fiberglass doesnt give much and cracks very easily and has to always be moded to fit vehicles. I know from my own experience with my body kit that its a pain in the ***. Fiberglass is like well to put it simply, and i mean really simply like glass it gives very little and cracks very very easily.

If anyone can define abs and urathane more genarally i would appreciate it alot thanks.

Like BlackBird said, I think you guys will end up losing the "Market" that you're looking for, if you go the fiberglass route. 15 yrs ago, fiberglass was okay, but now days, polyurethane is definitely the way to go. In my opinion, Maxima owners are different from Civic owners. I'm not trying to dis Honda's ( Sh-t, I've had 3 myself, and my GF has one now ). But, TYPICALLY (not always) Civic owners are younger kids who are basically just looking for cheap looks. Quality and fitment are not first priority. We, on the other hand, look more towards longer lasting and durable products to work well the first time. Does this make sense? I'm sure if you look at the average age of a Civic owner and a Maxima owner, I can guarantee the Max owner is older, and has different ideas of what good a good quality product is. Just my .02, but I think the Max just has a different market all together, and it's products should be designed to suite that market. I better stop now. (Hopefully no Civic owners will come and mob me!!! Just a generalization !!!)

I understand that poly parts are a lot better than fiberglass parts, but you have to keep in mind the costs of poly. Im sure that we can produce both poly and fiberglass kits for maximas, but from past experiences, fiberglass parts sell and poly parts sell, but they just sell less. The real question is are maxima owners going to pay the extra few hundred dollars for a poly part?

my main concern is that the openings, even though they arent big like the r34 VIS bumper, are still big enough to look cheesy if you dont put some type of filler or grill. Unfortunately, the wire mesh doesnt make it look better either.

if you dont put wire mesh though, you can see the bumper supports and what not. i guess you can put a fake intercooler or move the radiator up... iunno, just my .02 cents

The kit on the white max pictured looks real good, but not crazy about the fog lights there...I think they would much better in the lower openings. Poly all the way!

Fiberglass sucks, it will crack in the winter, it absolutely sucks to install it on the car, it looks cheap. Most of us who want this kit in utherane are big ballas and we have the $$$ to pay for a quality product. Give is a turd of a bumper and they won't see many sold- I mean look at the R34 VIS bumper for instance- Good idea, crappy design, looks like azz and its fiberglass. Alot of companies promissed us new front bumper designs to make the car look good, EVERY one of them has "their own" idea on how it should look. I bet not a single Maxima body kit out on the market wasn't designed by a Maxima nut, but someone who just feels like it might look good- they make it and try selling an AZZ product. Take the design of MaximaZero, do not change ANYTHING on it, I mean ZERO changes- MAKE it- THEN show it to us. If it looks like that product in the picture I provided- I belive the product will sell. It flows the lines of the Maxima right, and it damn straight makes the car look like a R34 with little changes !

CM made that bumper based on a design which I believe won a poll made by them on which kit the org wanted. Too bad they decided to modify the design a bit (apparently b/c it was impossible to create the kit exactly like the pchop looked).

btw. thanks for the ABS explanations..looks like urethane is the only good way to go.

yeah count me out if it's made of fiberglass. I'm in if it's poly and looks like that pic with the fog's in a different spot possibly. Also I want this thing to look stock not like a huge gay *** aftermarket body kit.

i second the idea or poly. fiberglass may be cheaper, but most maxima owners have more money to spend on better product. i cant imagine it will take that much more money to get production going. i am sure your company has reasons for going with fiberglass, but most people here would pay more for a better quality bumper that lasts.

i like the design on the white max and would def be down if it looked like that... i think that the bumpers should keep the side markers the max looks naked with out them!!

The bumper will look exactly like the white photoshoped maxima. Nothing will change from that idea. Its going to be a One for ONe match.

this is not the front bumper but do you think they can make replica 02-03 side skirts? i'm be down with this and it should be significantly cheaper than OE. but that skyline bumper is killing me, no good. no side markers up front

i don't quite agree with what you have to say. The 5th gen maximas don't have many nice exterior upgrades except for the stillen body kit. Thats what everyone has. This is a great oppurtunity for a different look, if this front bumper comes out nice or even comes through.
