Illumina rear adjustments - Easy method?

Do I really have to remove all the metal surrounds to adjust the rear Illuminas, or should I bend a small screwdriver?

Just wondering if there are any easy tricks to it.

I just stick a small screwdriver in there. Don't have to remove the metal surrounds.

Yeah, dammit. I'll have to search around for a micro screwdriver. My small ones don't allow access without removing my sub box. Not something I want to do when simply doing adjustments...

Try a flathead drill bit or screwdriver bit.

Yeah, a regular flathead (long/thin) worked. I finally saw the channel where the screwdriver would fit. Hoping for a softer ride now

Thanks!

there is an opening at the top of the metal surrounds....get a medium length, fairly thin flathead and you can turn the dial by sticking it down through the top...piece of cake.

I'd recommend just leaving the plastic tabs that hold the carpet on the metal off while running illuminas. Makes for easy access since you just pull back the carpet.

Excellent point. I didn't like dealing with those.
