hey guys does anyone know the color of the wire and where the trunk pin is?? i need to connect my alarm to that and seem to have forgotten the color of the wire. any help? or just like a wiring diagram for 5th gen max? thanks!

 

Dont know it off my hand but you can connect it to your trunk light so that when it is turned on it will activate your alarm. just find the wire you need with a tester. I'm pretty sure its a positive wire u need to hook up, but check out the directions in your manual

 

That's what I did for my Accord with a mechanical release mechanism. That would work fine if you just want the alarm to notify you when the trunk has been open when the alarm is armed. However, the Maxima has an electrical trunk release mechanism. If you want the trunk to open via the alarm remote, then you will need to find the trunk pin. Remove the trunk release button from the door panel to in order to expose the wires. Then you will be able to see what color the wire is.
