Pics of my SE (pics.. 56k beware)

so here's my 2000 SE max. I've been a member of this site for almost 4 years.. and never posted pics of my car. So here it is. Let me know what you think. The stubby antenna is an active signal repeater for my cell phone (increases signal strength) wired by my local body shop. My lights are the ebay projector (chrome) soon to be retroed with E39(X5) E-code projectors with osram d2s bulbs and phillips ballasts... or maybe E46 like Dr.Roy is currently modding. Let me know what your opinions are.

thanks very much.. i love my maxima! Even if it doesn't have 255hp like the 5.5, i don't know if i'd ever want to get rid of it! After i finish my projector retro...(or get the funding for it), i plan on getting a stillen aero kit by the end of the summer. I'm planning on taking my max to europe with me in the fall, so i figure its much easier to get things done before i go.. rather than try to order and install stuff over in France. haha. I can't wait to show all those Peugeots, Renaults and Citroens what a real car is!

looks good overall, though I've never been a fan of the ebay projector lights (their looks or their lack of "light")....

I will say though, that you will not have fun paying upwards of $5 a gallon for gas for the gas-guzzling maxima.....that's why europeans drive the little turbo 4's

very true about gas prices, i will not be driving it very much at all while i'm there. I will be in Paris where gas prices are soaring around 3euro/littre!! that's approaching 8 bucks/gallon.. In regards to your dislike of ebay projectors.. to each his own.. i cannot argue that their light quality suffers. but i feel that its more economical for me to get these lights and retro as opposed to the 2k2 lights. After my retro, i will put 2k2 light output to shame! haha.... i hope.......

i love that color. Nice and clean looking max. I do prefer the OEM 2002-03 head lights but those look a little better than i thought they did on da max.

Cajun, I'm glad i convinced you. The light output of the ebay projectors is a little spotty on the road, but good enough to see clearly... My plan is to retrofit some BMW E46 or E39 projectors, with D2S bulbs to MAXIMize my light output. I advise that if you get these projectors, you do an hid retrofit, or find someone to do it for you. You have to admit though.. they doo look REALLY FLY!

Nice max, but if those ebay projectors had black housing it would have looked better (I didn't read all the post, did someone already mention this?) Otherwise, car looks nice and clean even tho it's not modded yet.

sorry guys, i guess this post is kind of unnecessary. i've gotten several comments on this fact.. haha, i guess i was feeling a bit to happy when i posted this thread, i guess it's pretty pointless. PS.. HID coming this summer(like i said in the first post)... some people mention me needing to do a retro...

its my neighbor's escalade with 23in rims... it's nice.. but everytime he pulss in to the apartment the windows practically break in the building.. i think he's got 5 15's in the back. He's won several sound competitions.. i like my max better though.. but i'm biased
